If it’s Friday…..

BUT IT’s not…it’s still Talking Points with the Founding Fathers!

So I am one day late…life happens…

In Friday or this morning’s Sanford Herald, there’s a letter to the editor from a Ms. Anthony from Clayton complaining about Renee Ellmers. Sort of had a “dereliction of duty” theme.

Yea, Ms. Anthony, Renee’s been on the job for two months and your freebies are in danger! Yep, Renee is some God awful person because she is receiving benefits of being in Congress for 2 MONTHS! She must be hanged for wanting to see our country prosper again!

Just why isn’t she like the old sloth, Bobby Etheridge? You know, he is going to every TV station he can trashing Renee and out of the goodness of his heart, working for Bev “I haven’t been arraigned yet” Perdue because the people of NC need him.

Ms. Anthony makes no mention of Bob’s wonderful friends, SEIU, Pelosi, and her puppet, Reid! She makes no mention of the $2500 per plate BBQ fundraiser Bob held a block from the Capital before the election. Oh I guess she needs to be reminded of the 4 TRILLION (that’s a lot of zeros) her hero helped add to our deficit.

Yes sir, must have been a slow news day and the Herald had to dig deep to get this letter.

Liberals are far more entertaining when they lose. However, you really find out who they are when they have.

Right on PH! It is rather strange to see complaints about the benefits arranged by your party become an issue because your party lost. I would like to see the special benefits become like the normal benefits that most Americans receive but I know it will take a while before any reform happens.

  2. As Madam Speaker Pelosi used to say, “Elections have consequences…” Sorry, Mrs. Anthony, Congresswoman Ellmers is entitled to the “spolis” of her victory, which include a cadillac healthcare plan that virtually every member of Congress enjoys. And, yes, she did miss a vote. In my mind, I’d rather her miss a vote rather than vote “yea” on some of the insane provisions that Bobby boy helped pass into law– like his votes for Obamacare and overturning the Military’s DADT policy. I know Ms. Ellmers and I know her to be a strong conservative with a conscience, committed to serving her constituents rather than indulging special interests or Party cronies. It’ll take her a little while to get settled in Washngton, but I have every confidence she’ll do us all proudly on the critical votes. I just pray she never gets too comfortable in Washington…’cause that’s when things go awry!

“In the absence of a constitution, men look entirely to party; and instead of principle governing party, party governs principle.” — Thomas Paine

New Oath of Office (generic): “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of Governor of this State, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Democratic Party.”

Norman Matton Thomas (November 20, 1884 – December 19, 1968) was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America. He was ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1911. As a candidate for President of the U. S.

Norman Thomas said, in a 1944 epoch speech:

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism”, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” He went on to say: “I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform.”

    …and God save the State.

Tim – There’s no documentation that I ever said what you said I said. Look it up!
