Just a rookie mistake, they say!

In Weds Sanford Herald, they say Commissioner Womack is just a rookie. They being our esteemed school board members!

Just a rookie mistake. What else should we expect from a school board that screams at the media for their reporting due to the board’s deliberate silence! And their willingness to ruin a senior’s life to save their own skin!

What else should we expect from a board that seems so concerned about their reputation in the county they send out a survey then have the audacity to not ask a third party to look objectively at the results! Nope the super and Bonardi controlled that! Just a rookie mistake, they say.

What else should we expect from a board who some members just blindly hired Moss without vetting him? Yes I can say that now after reading the mess he left Beaufort County in.

Nope. It wasn’t rookie mistake. It was the truth. Thank God Mr. Womack had the guts to speak up.

For once it’s nice to see a leader on the BOC. Wonder how great our schools would be if we had that on the school board as well? You know, men, not puppets?

  1. Well PH, if I comment when I think you are wrong, I should comment when I think you are right. In my opinion you are right on with this ‘Rookie Mistake’ post. The Superintendent and some of the Board of Education just can’t hide their arrogant contempt for the common people and seem to think Commissioner Womack is just a common man. They don’t seem to realize what his military training and experience implies. The editorial board of the Herald seemed to have the same problem. Sheriff Carter knows and that was part of his reason for not supporting Womack in the recent election. That barb about some of the Board members being puppets was just too true. Well Done!

    Much appreciated, George.
