If it’s Friday…

It’s talking points with the Founding Fathers…

Ok, this patriot has decided to have a bit of fun with someone on the other blogger’s site.   After reading  Ms. Brogan’s campaign cry for the sheriff in today’s Sanford Herald, I had a vision of being peaceful, laid back, not in jail for speaking my mind, and letting what is to be just be…

It was only a vision…not a lifestyle change!

Oh I can see the backlash coming…Therefore here I go..

Tamara, and others, feel free to use these talking points.

1.  Close your eyes.  Picture Kansas.

2.   Click your heels three times please and say, “There’s no sheriff like Carter, there’s no sheriff like Carter, there’s no sheriff like Carter…”

Happy Friday!

  1. Ben Franklin says:

    This is how it works:

If you’re the sheriff, you can have an opinion. If you’re Tamara Brogan, you can have an opinion. If you disagree with KFC’s opinion, you’re a liar.

Tamara obviously has plenty in common with her man-child KFC other than their views and their membership in the Church of the Latter-Day Saints. (Except that Tamara hasn’t been ex-communicated.)

Here are other symptoms they share:
    Reacts to criticism with rage
Takes advantage of other people to achieve his or her own goals
    Has feelings of self-importance
    Exaggerates achievements and talents
Is preoccupied with fantasies of power
Has unreasonable expectations of favorable treatment
    Requires constant attention and admiration
Disregards the feelings of others, lacks empathy
    Has obsessive self-interest
    Pursues mainly selfish goals

Classic description of a person with a narcissistic personality disorder. Check yourself in, Tamara. It’s not too late!

  2. John Jay says:

Careful there Patrick, we’re not in Kansas anymore.

The question we should pose to Ms. Brogan is, “Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?” That is an important question that concerned GOPers want to know. If she’s a good witch, then she has nothing to fear from the Lee County GOP. We Munchkins are a decent lot, just interested in seeing Lee County grow and prosper. And we revere our good witches.

Lee County conservatives must be careful to identify the bad witches and their flying monkeys. And, contrary to the advice of the great and powerful wizard, we will be paying close attention to the man behind the curtain!

  3. Patrick Henry says:

    Good advice, Mr. Jay.

Just an observation, not a condemnation: Glenda never put down the munchkins entrusted to her care. She always found a positive thing to say about everybody. Even the bad witch. I never once heard her refer to them (paraphrasing please), “those wicked termites”.

But alas, I was just having some fun to lighten up the election season. Why not join me for a mug or two of some good spirits? Time to play is short. Let me not deceive my brothers. For it seems a revolution is coming in about 10 days. And I, Mr. Jay, am ready to lead America back to her glory days when our Presidents were proud, not ashamed, and most definitely unapologetic of this great land we live in.

  4. Darn! Patrick please give more notice before you schedule a revolution. My supply of Lead and Flints has run low, and my Powder is 6 years old and may cause a lot of misfires. My rifles are maintained and hidden where the Oppressors won’t find them. Did you learn nothing from Samuel Adams and his Massachusetts circular letter that resulted in the occupation of Boston in ’68 and the Massacre in that town in ’70? I thought this was supposed to be a strictly local action with the big push to be made in two years hence?

  5. George;

Spoken like a true patriot! The movement begins in earnest in 9 days. From there, it cascades for a two year period. For us to take this country back, we have to be victorious on November 2nd, and then sustain the momentum through the November 2012 election cycle. We can do this! We just need to avoid the mistakes we made after we took power the last time (in January, 1995). This time, we will hold our GOP leaders accountable as fiscal conservatives. Those who fail us will be replaced. Take no prisoners!

    Publius

  6. Patrick Henry says:

George: Nope. Didn’t learn a thing. Remember: I’m the rebel. Radical is more like it. At least that’s what they write about me.

I’ll try to remember to give you a heads up next time. But if we patriots remember to get on our knees and ask our God to be in the midst of us, there won’t be a need for another revolution after this one. We’ll take care of business this time around.

    Patrick
